Taiwan - Touch Your Heart ♥

Hi People~~

I just got back from Taiwan few days ago.. I have to admit that I did not really enjoyed my trip there.. Maybe there are few reasons why I did not enjoy it..

Reason 1: I just got back from Australia 3 days before I departed for Taiwan.. I got tired travelling twice in  a month.. 

Reason 2: The weather is bloody cold.. It is even colder than Australia.. Taiwan supposed to enter Srping soon but the temperature dropped as low as 8.5 Celsius.. WTH!!! I was under dress as usual, maybe because I thought the weather will be like in Genting Highland.. I was WRONG.. 

Reason 3: In the middle of the trip, I got sick. Bad sore throat, stuffy nose and cough.. Blah.. Under dress for trips had finally made me sick.. I am still sick now.. Not really getting any better.. Sigh =(

Reason 4: I argued with boyfie quite a number of times.. His perceptions of this trip and my perceptions of this trip is totally opposite.. I just wanna go shopping, eat and chill.. He apparently wanted to go see places that he had never went before.. More adventurous I supposed.. So we argued a lot.. Sigh..

But the best part of this trip still I went with my loved ones.. And another person joined us.. Jun Jun Jun =) I never really went out with her before as both of us met during work.. It was different this time having people we rarely hangout come along for this trip.. Well, we never regretted asking her to join.. It was definitely more lively among us.. Someone is more happy too.. Ahahahahha xD

1st day aka Valentine Day

As usual, we arrived at LCCT airport early morning.. We took AirAsia to Taipei.. Blah blah blah.. We took taxi to Ximending and that cost about NTD1100.. Well for 4 people with big luggage.. I think that price is reasonable.. We stayed at this hotel " Han She Business Hotel ". We bought the hotel room along with our flight ticket and it was cheap.. No doubt the room given was smaller than what we expected.. But it is clean and tidy.. It fits all of us well.. So no argument there.. 

By the time we reached there, it was about 5 in the evening.. So we went to hunt for food.. Stumbled across this steamboat place called " Feng Ma La ".. It was new and the place was having special promotion for Valentine Day.. So we played the game that offers the free dinner.. Rule of the game was simple, kiss for 30 seconds... Hehehehehe.. 

If anyone happened to be in Taiwan now or going to Taiwan soon.. Give a try at this place.. You will never regret it.. The food were fresh and varieties of food and beverages to be chosen.. If I happened to go there again, I definitely dine there again..

2nd Day

OKay.. I can't really remember where we went but I try to retrace everything and put it in summary.. Besides that, I am also a banana.. Everything type here will be in romanized Chinese words..

Afternoon - I went to a place with MRT using "You You" student card.. MRT is the most convenient way to travel in Taipei.. Plus my hotel located near to Ximen MRT station.. 

We went to Hello Kitty Sweets for afternoon tea.. Remember if you want to visit Hello Kitty cafe, YOU HAVE TO BOOK FIRST.. Don't be like us, waited till 3.30pm and wasted first few hours just shopping.. 

During afternoon tea, HKS only served dessert and beverages.. Everyone have to ordered at least minimum NTD 300... You can't just sit there and NOT ORDER.. It's kinda stupid because some afternoon tea like Miss AraleJ (btw, its Jun Jun Jun) ordered was huge.. She can't finished it and Mr Skinny forced to finished everything.. Lol..

Evening - We went to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall with MRT then off to Taipei 101 with bus.. Taipei 101 sell mostly branded stuff there.. All I can afford are Zara and Tommy Hilfiger Denim.. T.T So sad.. Checked out the prices of Longchamp there.. Absolutely cheaper than Singapore ones.. Then headed back to Ximending for more shopping..

3rd Day 

Morning - We have breakfast a some shop nearby then headed off to Yuanshan by MRT.. We visited Confucius Temple then tried to find Taipei Story House but failed.. So we continued to Damsui..

Afternoon - When we reached Damsui station, we headed off to Old Street to have lunch.. Walked around then headed off to the place called Red something.. It is something like a fort.. Google it because I did not aware the place... Bad mood.. Super cold that day.. Freezing my ass off..

Evening - Our last stop was Old Fisherman Wharf.. We walked over the Lover's Bridge.. Well, for me I only walked half.. I was scare of the water below.. =.='' So we went to a Lover's Bell to wrote down our messages and hang it on the fence.. 

During that moment, I felt like killing Mr Skinny.. I was trembling badly due to the cold and it was raining also.. But he was nowhere to be found with Miss AraleJ for about an hour.. I almost wanted to go back to Ximendng alone.. Thank god, they appeared.. =.=''

4th day

Afternoon - We woke up quite late as the night before was real tiring.. Travelling around in public transport and rain + cold its not exactly the best combination ever.. So that day was all about eat and shopping.. Two of them were happy shopping at Wufenpu.. As for me, I did not really enjoyed it as most of the shops sell Winter clothes there.. =.='' How to wear in Malaysia?!?! Aiyoooo..

Remember this too.. If you think you want coffee to warm yourself up.. Go to any 7-Eleven, Family Mart or all this kinda shop to get coffee.. Their coffee range from NTD 35 to 60.. Quite nice.. 

Evening - Since we woke up late, we shopped at Wufenpu till 5pm and straight headed off to Shilin Night Market at Jiantan.. Don't ask me why Shilin Night Market is not at Shilin MRT stop.. Just listened to me and stop at Jiantan.. I also asked Mr Skinny that question... Well, he can't answer me..

Night - We done with Shilin Night Market and headed back to the hotel.. It was a tiring night.. We walked the whole Shilin Night Market.. Lots of food there.. But I did not try all.. Like the fried chicken, I had sore throat so I can't eat.. T.T

5th day

Morning - We woke early that morning.. Mr Skinny suggested to go Yehliu and Jiufen.. I had to go because no matter how I hate it.. I had to follow.. So I played emo all along the trip.. My throat hurts fucking bad.. I don't even dare to talk.. And the weather was 8.5 Celsius.. WTF!! Of course I argued with boyfie.. But we make up at the end of the day..

Anyway, we rented a car for the day.. It will be easier to travel by car as the destination to Yehliu and Jiufen is complicated if we traveled by public transport.. Each of us had to pay NTD1000.. However as for me I only paid half..  I forced boyfie to pay half for me .. Muahahahha xD

Afternoon - Then we went to Jiufen.. We had lunch there.. And shopped a bit too..

Evening - We headed off to Shifen to release some lantern that you could write words on it.. I forgot what the lantern called.. But I do not really care about it as I am a banana who do not even know how to write Chinese words except my name, I love you and some real simple word.. Write English on the lantern really has no meaning after all when I see others write in Chinese.. 

Night - After that, headed back to Ximending to do final shopping.. But first, the driver dropped us off at our hotel.. So we freshened up and went back out to hunt for food and clothes to buy..

6th day

Morning - The last day in Taiwan.. So before we go to the airport, we hunt for breakfast at Ximending.. I had the most wonderful breakfast ever... I ate as if I am gonna die.. Lol..

Cafe in Taiwan serves their food in small portion.. So let's say if you order Meehoon Soup.. They will only give Meehoon + Soup.. You have to order other condiments like vege, egg or whatsoever.. Unlike in Malaysia, when you order Meehoon Soup.. They will give you fishball, vege and stuff like that all together..

We walked around for awhile more then headed back to the hotel to wait for our taxi.. Taxi fees again is NTD 1100... It is worth it for me as we have so many people and luggage to fetch. Easier and more convenient than taking the bus.. 

Finally reached Taoyuan International Airport.. Though we are still early for the check in, the line for check in was already bloody long.. =.=''' I guessed everybody picked Sunday to go home so they can start work or study on Monday..

We reached LCCT airport around 8.30pm.. We settled for liquor and chocolates at duty free.. So by the time we reached my place, it was around 10.30pm.. We still headed out for dinner/supper... As for Miss AraleJ, her bf picked her up at the airport.. So Mr Skinny do not need to fetch her back but still fetch boyfie back..
